Hi, I’m Hamré S’il Vous Plait and I’m dedicated to keeping Volt members
both inspired and updated on all the latest trends, limited editions and newest arrivals.
If you’re shopping for the soon to be consultant, or IT guy, or both, there is an unspoken of way of dressing I want to reveal for you. I even added denim for casual Fridays! Follow this blueprint, and your recipient of the Christmas gift can show up on work with the confidence that what he’s wearing, at least, is spot on. The rest is up to himself.
Christmas shopping can be a b****, especially for those with small or non-existing wish lists. If you’re in need of tips for the kind of guy that always dresses in plain colours, I’ve compiled six different options I think you should check out! Bear in mind, we have other items as well, however, these ones stand out.
In the age of personalization and automatization, we're introducing Artificial Unintelligence.
You are much more than your last purchase. We don't agree with the notion that if you have bought a Filippa K shirt once or twice you should always get ads and recommendations for Filippa K shirts. However great Filippa K shirts are.
We believe that you are more multifaceted than that. You’re made up of thousands of decisions every day. With 12 years of experience from the Scandinavian fashion scene, I believe that my recommendations and voice have value.
I'm Hamré s’il vous plait. Artificial Unintelligence, personified.
Blue Monday is actually the third monday in January, thought upon to be the most depressing day of the year. The term has widened, and some people seem to experience them all the time. We think you should embrace your Blue Mondays, and place your New Order today!
Greige! It’s not a trendy meal from central America and it’s not the new workout trend at your local gym, but it’s the color in perfect harmony between grey and Beige.
Every now and then you might want to mix up your office attire, if you want to keep giving a serious impression but want to keep things fresh? I’ve got the perfect things for you.
Few colours are more widely used than red. Symbolizing fire and passion, the colour is both used for cupid(love) and the devil. Undisputable, red is the colour for those who can pull off wearing it – can you handle it?
If you don’t have the urge to stand out, but rather blend in – camouflage is the trick. Except if you’re in the military and home on leave, then the camouflage works the other way around...
Anyway, when all turns white, wear white – and stroll around unnoticed.
As the landscape turns whiter, you probably want to dress warm and look cool. My tips this week is for those who seek this combination. For those of you who really don’t care about your presence, we’ve got you covered as well!
There is no coincidence that blue is the first choice for loads of large companies worldwide – as it symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and confidence, in addition to being the colour of the sky and the sea. If you want to come off as any of these things, wearing blue will help you on the way. The rest is up to you..
Patterns are everywhere. Especially checks. Check out my recommendations for putting the Check in Slovakia. To quote Magnus Carlsen: Check mate my friend!
Even though some of you think of the Korean popsinger when I say Rain, I’m referring to the droplets of rain that tends to fall right about this time of year. In Norway there is a saying: ‘There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing(sounds better in Norwgian though)’, and if you want to put some money where the saying is, check out these favorites!
Isn’t it nice when people dare to colour up? It can certainly get me out of any Monday mood – so follow my lead, and spice it up with some colours and patterns. PS. This edit has no link to Color Line, however, pun intended.
The Swedish unisex brand Adnym is by far one of my favourite brands!
Combining the love for craftsmanship and quality, with innovation and uniqueness – Adnym is mos def a brand to check out! Enjoy
Did you know that only 1% of people worldwide lists grey as their favorite colour?
With that in mind, follow my lead this week and stand out among the other 99%, shades of grey is much more than a terrible movie. Grey is my choice this week!
For those of you not quite sold on the mustard yellow combination last week, here is something I bet you like: Dark green! Combines easily with black, navy etc, and looks absolutely amazing no matter the occasion. Dare to go green this autumn, I know I will!
Brown in combination with ochre yellow is an amazing combination for those early autumn days, and also spot on in terms of the current trend. If you don’t give a d… about trends, that’s perfectly fine, we have a lot of dull colours as well :)
