Using a tape measure and measure the circumfence of where you intend to wear your belt. The choose the belt size that corresponds to the measurement in the table under.

Based on the size of your trousers

If you don't have access to a measuring tape, you can instead use the size of your pants. Use the table under to convert your pant size to the correct belt size.

Based on a belt you already have

You can also assume from a belt you already have. Then measure from the edge of the belt buckle to the middle hole of the belt (see sketch under). Then choose the belt size that corresponds to the measurement in the table under.
